Kick off the weekend with a four course food and wine tasting paired with our partner wineries, including a champagne and charcuterie welcome.

Classes & Grand Tasting - Saturday, May 2nd | 1:30 pm - 5:00pm

Enjoy an afternoon of live music by Cinema Talk Band, activities, wine tasting and food samples! If you choose to attend a class, these will be on a first come basis to sign up once you arrive outside of the Freemark Abbey experience. These classes will be breakout sessions happening throughout the event including a bubbles class, an international wines class and a cooking with wine class where you will learn how to make a vinaigrette with wine. We will have amazing vendors, activities for purchase including fishing for caviar, wine bottle ring toss and more, and a wine themed Kentucky Derby competition throughout the day for all to enjoy!

Wine Expert Smackdown Dinner - Saturday, May 2nd | 6pm

This dinner will be one for the books. We will have 2 wine experts selecting wines for each of 5 courses for you to blind taste and vote on! After each course, the experts will talk about the wines they chose and why and we will announce which wine was the crowd favorite. The wine expert to take a win from 3 of the 5 courses takes home the trophy! Menu created from Chef Eric Hess with Sora and Chef Chris Enyon from Lago.
